Austria: Lutz Group reopens 117 stores from 2 May

After almost seven weeks of prescribed closure of Austria's furniture stores, the Lutz Group is reopening all 117 stores of its distribution channels XXXLutz, Möbelix and Mömax this Saturday. Since all of them cover a very large sales area, there will be sufficient space for customers, the company says. All furniture stores of the XXXLutz Group will be equipped with free MNS masks for customers as well as disinfectants. Moreover, plexiglas devices were put up at the sales support points and in the checkout area, according to a press release.

The Lutz Group expects increased demand at the beginning of May, especially for high-quality kitchens and furnishings. Due to the Covid crisis, people are expected to put more money into their homes.
