A while ago, some providers limited themselves to brown-to-beige tones, but Zollanvari has always been unrestrained when it comes to colour. Cheery and lively additions to the company’s Gabbehs Abstract & Plain and Gabbehs Flora & Fauna product lines were presented in the digital edition of Parisian trade show Maison & Objet. Starting with “Kaleidoscope”, with bold colours and expressive, kaleidoscopic patterns, and the Naïf Collection – a “child’s-eye” reinterpretation of nomadic rugs with stylised animals and plants. Then there’s “The Name of the Rose”, featuring a large, naturalistic rose blossom, and the Kyoto Shibori and Kyoto Kasuri designs with a distinctly Japanese feel.
