Shri Umer Hameed is the new Chairman of CEPC

The Indian Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC) has a new Chairman. Shri Umer Hameed – till then 2nd Vice Chairman of CEPC – has already taken over the office on 18 June 2021. Shri Umar Hameed is the owner of Hannan's Oriental Rugs, a manufacturer and exporter of hand-tufted and hand-knotted rugs. The company has been specialised in Kashmiri rugs for more than 60 years. Umer Hammed is the first Kashmiri in this post for many years.
