The regulations of the Hessian state government, which have been in force since 22 November 2021, confirm that Heimtextil will be held under 2G requirements. "With regard to the official 2G obligation, we are also pleased to have valid results from our global network of subsidiaries and sales partners of Messe Frankfurt, which show that almost all participating exhibitors and their teams from all international core markets of Heimtextil have been vaccinated with approved vaccines. As for our visitors, the situation will be similar", explains Olaf Schmidt, Vice President Textiles & Textile Technologies.
On this basis, Heimtextil 2022 can be held in the planned breadth and depth on ten hall levels with around 1,500 exhibitors from 50 countries. "For this very reason, the health and safety of all participants is our top priority", Schmidt continues. "Our comprehensive protection and hygiene concept has proven successful at previous trade fairs."
As it stands at present, trade fair participants must present a current proof of vaccination or convalescence at the entrance. In addition, there are further measures such as online ticketing, fresh air supply, a generous hall and entrance design layout to maintain safety distances as well as intensive cleaning measures. Further information on the hygiene and protection concept is available on the Heimtextil website.
