Möbel Rieger: Hörmannskirchner to succeed Lübbe

The torch is passed at Möbel Rieger (Göppingen, Germany): Carpet Purchasing Manager Andreas Lübbe is retiring on 31 March 2023 after 25 years with furniture store Möbel Rieger, to be succeeded by Simon Hörmannskirchner, who has been the company's lighting manager since 2011. From April, Hörmannskirchner will be in charge of purchasing for both areas.

Anderas Lübbe worked in carpet purchasing for nearly 40 years, first at Breuninger before joining Möbel Rieger. During his time at Möbel Rieger, Lübbe played a role in new store openings in Gera, Esslingen and Heilbronn and in numerous conversion and repositioning projects at the company's four other locations. With the retirement of Andreas Lübbe the industry will be seeing the departure of a carpet expert who loved the business.
