Domotex Middle East returns to Dubai

Domotex Middle East is returning to Dubai. After 13 years, the trade fair will return to the United Arab Emirates from 23-25 April 2024. The venue will be the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). With the return of the show to Dubai, organiser Deutsche Messe is responding to the long-standing demand from the Middle East market for an annual, centrally located trade fair platform in this important target market.

"The construction, development, property and interiors sectors are growing continuously throughout the Middle East. As a result, the demand for carpets and floor coverings is also constantly increasing, which means that the market share of the flooring industry from the Middle East is also growing steadily," explains Sonia Wedell-Castellano, Global Director of Domotex events worldwide.

Based on a sales volume of USD 8.6 billion in 2022, experts expect the market for floor coverings and carpets in the region to grow to around USD 14.55 billion by 2030. The average growth rate is expected to be 7.2%.
