Henner (Heinrich) Schürholz died on 17 May 2024. The textile engineer was 71 years old. His name is closely associated with the Dorsten-based company Dekowe. Since 1982, Schürholz had held responsible positions at the Deutsche Kokosweberei, which his family had co-founded in 1887. Even after the specialist for floor coverings made of the natural fibres sisal and coir was taken over by the Steffel Group in 2007, he remained Managing Director until 2012.
