Carpet Week Hamburg in October, advertising association established

The fourth edition of Carpet Week Hamburg will take place in the week from 7 to 13 October. This time 26 Hamburg carpet suppliers will open their showrooms and warehouses for the in-house exhibition format and invite their customers from the international carpet trade. As in previous years, the range of goods on offer will be very broad, ranging from handmade programme goods, classically patterned one-offs, decorative antique carpets, fine silk carpets, modern South Persian nomadic carpets, classic and modern Afghan carpets to high-quality modern Nepalese carpets. Events at the participating wholesalers will round off Carpet Week Hamburg 2024.

This year, Hamburg's carpet wholesalers are moving even closer together by founding the Carpet City Hamburg advertising association. The aim is to jointly promote the strengths of Hamburg as a business location. The city is still one of the most important trading centres for handmade carpets. Participants in the promotional association are based in the historic Speicherstadt warehouse district, now a Unesco World Heritage Site, as well as in numerous warehouses and showrooms throughout the city. Carpet Week Hamburg is organised by Carpet City Hamburg.
