XXXLutz Acquires Porta Group in Germany, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia

The XXXLutz Group is acquiring the Porta Group. The furniture retail group operates around 140 locations in Germany, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, including brands such as Porta, Möbel Boss, Asko, and Möbel Letz.

With this acquisition, XXXLutz aims to strengthen the competitiveness of both companies, particularly in a challenging market environment and with the growing online trade. Paul de Jong, Managing Director of Porta Holding, emphasises the synergies: "XXXLutz ideally complements Porta’s structure and locations, creating the best conditions for joint development."

The sale is subject to regulatory approval. Both parties have agreed not to disclose financial details.
