IDD Cologne: New Trade Fair for Interior Design

From 26 to 29 October 2025, IDD Cologne will celebrate its premiere in Cologne. The new trade fair for high-quality interior solutions is aimed at the high-end interior community in Europe, bringing together strong brands, innovative design, and pioneering trends. Unlike traditional product fairs, i IDD Cologne offers a holistic perspective on modern living environments. The event is planned to take place every two years in October, with its 2025 debut occupying Halls 2 and 3 of Koelnmesse.

According to Koelnmesse, preparations are in full swing, and the industry has shown great interest. Renowned companies such as Bielefelder Werkstätten/JAB, Bretz, COR, interlübke, and Kettnaker have already confirmed their participation during the early booking phase. "We are delighted by the strong response and the high level of industry interest," says Oliver Frese, CEO of Koelnmesse GmbH. New registrations are coming in almost daily, and anticipation for the event is growing.

The fair covers a wide spectrum – from branded furniture for indoor and outdoor spaces to kitchen and bathroom furniture, fittings, and premium mattress production, as well as decorative lighting, textiles, rugs, and flooring and wall design. A special focus is placed on the hospitality and contract business for hotels, restaurants, and the catering sector. In addition to trade visitors from the furniture retail sector, contract furnishing, real estate, and hospitality industries, the fair also appeals to design-conscious private visitors. A comprehensive event and networking programme featuring high-profile speakers will provide insights into current design trends. Additionally, the city programme "IDD Cologne Downtown" will bring interior design into the heart of Cologne.
