Oriental Weavers reports strong growth in its 2024 annual report: The Egyptian carpet manufacturer achieved revenue of EGP 24.3 billion (approx. EUR 440 million) – an increase of 38% compared to the previous year. Growth was primarily driven by international markets, which grew by 42% and accounted for 66% of total revenue. In Egypt, revenue rose by 28%. The woven rugs segment, which represents the largest share of the business, grew by 33%.
EBITDA increased by 29% to EGP 3.5 billion, while net profit rose by 34% to EGP 2.5 billion. The company continues to focus on expanding its presence in international markets and is driving the growth of its e-commerce business.
"By focusing on international markets, we have not only maintained our sales volumes but also achieved strong revenue growth," the management stated. The company aims to further expand its market presence and enhance operational efficiency.
