DC Carpets (Devos Caby) files for insolvency

Belgian rug manufacturer DC Carpets, also known as Devos Caby, has filed for insolvency. The long-established company from Deerlijk, which was set to celebrate its 75th anniversary this year, most recently employed around 40 staff. Despite a restructuring six months ago and a focus on high-quality rugs, order volumes remained low. Mounting competitive pressure proved increasingly difficult for the company to withstand.
