Jan Kath: Red Dot Award for rug Doto

The rug Doto, designed by Jan Kath and his son Sanchir, has been awarded the Red Dot Award 2025. Inspired by the ocean, the design combines flowing transitions with shimmering colors. With Sanchir Kath, the next generation is now bringing fresh creative energy into the family business. Doto will be on display at the Red Dot Design Museum at the Zollverein UNESCO World Heritage Site in Essen for one year starting 8 July.
