IDD Cologne 2025 rethinks location – design venues instead of fairground.

IDD Cologne 2025 will no longer take place at Koelnmesse’s exhibition halls as originally planned. Instead, the premium interior design event will be held exclusively at selected design venues across the city of Cologne. From 26 to 29 October, the city itself becomes the stage for high-end interior solutions – with brand presentations at locations such as the Design Post Cologne and the listed Moeller textile pavilion. This new “urban-only” format aims to bring interior design closer to where people live, work, and create. The concept is being developed by Koelnmesse in close cooperation with the German Furniture Industry Association (VDM) and key industry partners.
