Kibek reopens flagship store in Elmshorn (Germany)

Following a three-month refurbishment, Kibek has reopened its flagship store in Elmshorn (Germany) with 20,000 sqm of retail space. The new store concept – first implemented earlier this year at the Hanau branch – focuses on transparency, clear orientation, open layouts and modern price communication. Around 2,500 LED spotlights provide a bright and inviting atmosphere.

The world’s largest rug store offers not only rugs but also flooring, lighting, decoration and home textiles, complemented by advisory services, professional installation and an in-house restaurant. Over the next three to four years, the concept will be rolled out across the company’s remaining 14 stores.

A detailed feature on the Hanau store and an interview with Managing Director Lisa Sachau can be found in Carpet Home III/2025.
