Pantone reveals “Color of the Year 2026”: Cloud Dancer

Pantone has announced its Color of the Year 2026: Cloud Dancer. The subtle white shade is meant to evoke calm, clarity and quiet reflection – a deliberate counterbalance to an increasingly loud and fast-paced world. It follows the warm brown tone Mocca Mousse from 2025, which expressed the desire for comfort and reassurance.

Laurie Pressman, Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute, explained: “In this time of transformation, as we redefine our future and our place in the world, ‘Pantone 11-4201 Cloud Dancer’ is a subtle white tone that promises clarity. The cacophony surrounding us has become overwhelming, making it difficult to hear the voices of our inner selves. ‘Cloud Dancer’ is a conscious statement of simplification, strengthening our focus by freeing us from the distractions of external influences.”
