50th India Carpet Expo scheduled for October

The 50th edition of the India Carpet Expo is set to take place from 4 to 6 October 2026 in Bhadohi. The Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC) had originally planned to hold the anniversary event in April but had to cancel the spring fair. The venue remains the Carpet Expo Mart in Bhadohi, India. According to the Council's Chairman, Capt. Mukesh Kumar Gombar, this 50th edition marks a significant milestone for the industry. The trade fair serves as a central event to present international buyers with the latest designs and the diversity of Indian weaving and knotting craftsmanship at a single location. Bhadohi is regarded as one of the country's most important production and processing hubs.
