Flanders Flooring Days gets new name and date

Belgian flooring trade fair Flanders Flooring Days will operate under a new name from 2028: European Flooring Days. The new name is meant to reflect the international scale the event has built up over five editions, while Flanders remains its permanent home. At the same time, the organiser is switching to a biennial cycle, alternating with the German trade fair BAU – meaning there will be no edition in 2027. The first European Flooring Days is scheduled for 21 to 23 March 2028, running over three days rather than the longer format of previous editions.

The venue remains Kortrijk Xpo, complemented by visits to showrooms and production facilities of participating companies across Flanders, connected by a free shuttle service. According to the organiser, the decision on the new rhythm follows extensive feedback from the market; the longer interval between editions is intended to create more room for international growth and to adapt logistics to a growing number of participants.
