With its Atelier Edition and Atelier Prestige lines, Theko is adding two new wool qualities to its stock range that visually resemble hand-made rugs. The models are machine-woven in India and then traditionally washed, edged, refined and finished by hand. Theko describes the process as "machine-woven and hand-finished".
Atelier Edition is made from New Zealand wool with a 20% nylon content, while Atelier Prestige combines 55% new wool with 35% viscose and 10% nylon. Both are available in nine standard sizes from 60 x 90 cm to 250 x 350 cm. With these products, Theko is further expanding its range of wool rugs. According to the company, the first delivery sold out completely, with a second shipment expected in October.
