Kuldeep Wattal appointed as the new Chairman of CEPC

S. Kuldeep R. Wattal has been appointed as the interim Chairman of the Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC) effective from August 1, 2024. He assumed office on August 3, 2024. Wattal, an experienced expert in the carpet industry, has previously held this position from 2001 to 2003 and again from 2014 to 2017.

He emphasized his full dedication to the new role, stating: "My priority is to work diligently towards the council’s objectives, aiming to enhance the growth and development of the Handmade Carpet and Rugs Industry. With the support of my colleagues in COA and in collaboration with the Govt of India, I am confident we can achieve great success for the industry."
