At the midpoint of its 2024/25 financial year (ending 28 September), the British Victoria Group reported revenue of £568.8 M (€682.3 M), reflecting an 8.9% decline compared to the same period last year. Adjusted EBITDA dropped sharply to £50.2 M (-45.8%), while pre-tax profit fell from £51.8 M to £7.7 M.
In the UK and mainland Europe, sales of textile floor coverings amounted to £284.8 M (-10.6%), while ceramic tiles generated £151.4 M (-9.1%). The North American market also saw a similar contraction, with revenue declining to £77.9 M (-9.9%). The only positive development came from Australia, where the largest manufacturer of textile floor coverings in Europe recorded a modest increase of 1.3% to £54.7 M.
