Heimtextil 2026 Introduces New Hall Layout for Further Growth

For its upcoming 2026 edition, Heimtextil is implementing a new hall layout. The Carpets & Rugs segment, which saw a significant increase in exhibitors in 2025, will be given more space to expand in halls 11.0 and 12.0. Additionally, the segment will be complemented by the newly introduced Flooring & Equipment area, bringing together textile and non-textile flooring solutions.

“Heimtextil 2025 was characterized by increased internationality and demand. In 2026, we are using this strong starting position to align the range even more closely with the needs of all trade fair participants by strategically selecting and combining relevant product groups,” explains Olaf Schmidt, Vice President Textiles & Textile Technologies. The revised layout aims to create shorter walking distances, enhance synergies between product segments, and further establish Heimtextil as the leading platform for the industry.

The sections dedicated to textile and non-textile interior design, as well as decorative and upholstery fabrics, will be consolidated in halls 3.0, 3.1, and 4.1. Hall 3.0 will focus on wallpapers, digital printing, textile editors, curtains, floor coverings, and sun protection, while the adjacent halls 3.1 and 4.1 will house the world’s largest selection of decorative and upholstery fabrics.
