Balta Home: Sale & leaseback of distribution centre

Victoria PLC has entered into a binding agreement for the sale and leaseback of its Belgian distribution centre to Avantage Property Holding. The gross consideration is 34.4 million EUR, compared to a net book value of 5.6 million EUR as of 31 January 2026. The site will remain the key European distribution hub for Balta Home following the relocation of the majority of the company's manufacturing to Turkey. Alongside two additional surplus property disposals, the proceeds are expected to fully fund the exceptional costs and capital expenditure associated with the transfer of production. Geoff Wilding, Executive Chairman of Victoria, noted that the agreement unlocks capital to mitigate costs for expanding production capacity at the Turkish plant, with benefits expected to commence during the current financial year.
