Mömax: new store in Koblenz

Austrian furniture discounter Mömax has opened a new store – in Koblenz, on 6,500 m2. Mömax is part of the XXXLutz Group and currently operates 87 furniture stores in eight European countries; 44 of them are in Germany.

Carpet Home: new advertising manager

Up to now, Mr Dennis Galle has been advising advertising customers of the business magazine Carpet Home with great commitment. As of 1 July, Galle will be leaving the team to pursue new career paths. In Mr Oliver Trettin, Carpet Home has found an extremely competent successor for the position of advertising manager.

Hausmann becomes Porta – featuring large carpet departments

Two Hausmann furniture stores are located in the greater Cologne area: one in Cologne-Gremberghoven, one in Bergheim. Both are fully owned by Porta Holding and will be rebranded this summer, so they will soon also operate under Porta brand name.

Wayfair invests in European headquarters

Wayfair has grown strongly during the pandemic. In the first quarter of 2021 alone, the US online retailer for home furnishing products had almost doubled its sales year-on-year (+49.2 %), to USD 3.5 billion (around EUR 2.9 billion).
