Nordsüd: Nimbaft carpets in Scandinavian tones

Information
According to Nordsüd, only a few weavers still master the traditional Nimbaft technique: it combines the kilim flatweave technique with hand-knotted accents; this gives the carpets a three-dimensional, relief-like surface.

Conventional Nimbaft carpets are very colourful. Nordsüd's "Malmö" collection has elegant shades of cream and grey that perfectly match the current Scandinavian style: It features a restrained design with unusual details, such as discreet tassels on the edges.
