Hans Eitzenberger deceased

One of the most important German dealers in old and antique carpets has died at the age of 81: Hans Eitzenberger, connoisseur of the industry, authorised carpet expert and BSOT member.

For years, his shop in Hamburg was the place to go for an expert clientele; his exhibition stands at art and antique fairs were considered hotspots. Eitzenberger also enjoyed great international recognition. People appreciated his great energy, his sure aesthetic sense, his expertise and his warm and humorous manner.
