Alisha Alex Ahmadi is dead

The carpet world has lost one of its outstanding personalities. Alisha Alex Ahmadi passed away on 24 August in his hometown Los Angeles after a short, serious illness. Together with his brother Ahamad, he came to Hamburg in 1979, where he gathered experience with antique carpets. In 1990, the brothers moved to Los Angeles and founded Ariana Rugs. Alisha Ahmadi took care of design and production in the company. His second home were the interior design and carpet fairs of the world. He was always open for inspiration and always up for a fun conversation with his business partners and friends.
