Oritop: Reinterpretation in cheerful colours

Information
What happens when a creative Austrian company asks Afghan weavers to reinterpret a Moroccan nomadic carpet in an idiosyncratic way? The result is the Crazy Floors collection by Oritop: long-pile, unique pieces made of pure new wool, some in very cheerful, colourful shades and with patterns reminiscent of the Moroccan Beni Ouarain. For Crazy Floors, Oritop buys high-quality wool and lets the weavers have a say in the colouring and patterning. "Cheerful rugs for young people who are not into classical carpets" – that is what Oritop says about the collection.

All Crazy Floor carpets can be produced to measure.
