CFE 2025 Trade Fair Achieves Record Participation

The Carpet and Flooring Expo (CFE) 2025, held from 7 to 10 January at the Istanbul Fair Centre, achieved record highs in exhibitor and visitor numbers. In its second edition, the event hosted over 500 exhibitors – roughly double the number from its debut. With a total of 35,940 trade visitors, including 27,664 domestic attendees and 8,276 international visitors from 103 countries, the fair recorded an impressive 70% increase in attendance compared to the previous year.

A significant number of exhibitors were from Turkey, showcasing primarily machine-made carpets, complemented by a high-quality selection of handmade rugs. Textile flooring and technical solutions were also on display. Additionally, companies from countries such as Iran, China, Pakistan, and Afghanistan contributed to the international product range.

In addition to the product showcase and effective marketing efforts, the organisers, Tüyap Exhibitions Group, arranged a diverse supporting programme. The "Carpet Talks 2025" series focused on key industry topics such as sustainability, recycling, and environmentally friendly production methods. Leading designers and companies used the platform to present new trends and innovative approaches.
