Christie's to auction off dragon carpet from the Ming dynasty

Christie's is auctioning off one of only 16 completely preserved dragon carpets from the Ming dynasty: It will go under the hammer on 23 November in Paris, as part of Christie's "Exceptional Sale". The superbly preserved 16th-century carpet has an estimate of 3.500.000 to 4.500.000 EUR. Detailed information can be found here on Christie's website.
