XXXLutz Group invests in moebel.de

Once again, the XXXLutz Group (XXXLutz, Pfister, Conforama, among others) is making a move and acquiring a stake in the furniture search engine moebel.de. The Austrians are taking over the shares from ProSiebenSat.1 Media. In recent years, moebel.de has grown to become the leading German-language specialist search engine for furniture, furnishings and interior decoration and has already started to internationalise the platforms in France and the Netherlands.

"With the exit of the investor, the opportunity for the investment has arisen for the XXXLutz Group. No operational activities will be taken over from our side with this investment. The existing management under CEO Arne Stock will continue to operate the neutral platform as before and will further internationalise it in the following years", says Thomas Saliger, company spokesman of the XXXLutz Group. The parties to the contract have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
