Federal Cartel Authority: XXXLutz participation in Möbel Braun approved

The approval of the Cartel Authority was still pending. Now it is official: XXXLutz acquires a 50% stake in Braun Möbel-Center. Braun Möbel operates a total of ten furniture stores in the south of Germany and employs over 1,000 staff. "The newly acquired businesses are an ideal fit for the XXXL concept and are market leaders at their locations", said Mag. Thomas Saliger, company spokesman of the XXXLutz Group on the fixing of the strategic partnership. The management of Braun Möbel-Center will remain in the hands of the previous owner Matthias Bader and the long-standing managing director Christoph Bürker.
