XXXLutz in Wels: reopening after total reconstruction

The XXXLutz furniture store in Wels, Austria, reopened on 25 May after months of total reconstruction. "The new XXXLutz is the most modern furniture store in the group. Here in Wels we have a 'home match', so to speak. After all, the company headquarters, where all the threads come together, is also located in Wels. That's why it was a special concern for us to bring the topic of living and furnishing to a completely new level here", says Thomas Saliger, company spokesman of the XXXLutz Group. In total, more than 20 million euros have been invested in the Wels location. All three sales channels (XXXLutz, Möbelix and Mömax) were completely rebuilt and renewed from the ground up. In addition, numerous sustainable measures were implemented, including a photovoltaic system and environmentally friendly cooling with groundwater. The shop has modern technologies such as LED lighting, digital price tags and tablets for product configuration.
